(Malay: Gunung Kinabalu) is a prominent mountain in Southeast Asia. It is located in Kinabalu National Park (a World Heritage Site) in the east Malaysian state of Sabah, which is located in the island of Borneo.
The main peak of the mountain is Low's Peak

Pick up from hotel lobby for Kinabalu park, which will take about 2 hours drive along the
Crocker ridge passing through countryside, villages, mountain views and some roadside
local stalls. A brief stop along the way for a photo shot of Mt. Kinabalu (weather permit)
and at Pekan Nabalu, one of the local stalls selling local handicraft, some fruits and
vegetable.
Arrived Kinabalu park, proceed for a Guided jungle walk to get a first impression of the
park and its unique flora before visiting the Mt. Garden.
At the Mt. Garden you will be guided to the collection of orchids and plants unique, some are endemic to Kinabalu Park.
Go for an Audio visual show introduction to the wonders of Kinabalu park and its
surrounding flora and fauna. Later in the afternoon, free at leisure untill dinner.
Over night in Twin bedded Room.
After your breakfast, transfer to Power Station to begin your trek. As you trek further up,
observe the changes of plant along the trail due to soil, height and climate. Enjoy your
boxed lunch along your trek up. You should arrive at the Mt. Hut in the late afternoon for
check in and free own leisure. Dinner and overnight at Laban Rata dormitory rest house
Mt. hut or similar.
Wake up and standby for your early summit trek. Have your hot drink at Laban Rata restaurant if you wish.
Continue trek to the summit (about 3 hours). You should arrive at about 0600hrs in time
to catch the sunrise (weather permit). As the dawn breaks up, at 4,095.2m you can
almost see all of the Sabah as the sunlight gradually but slowly creeps out of the horizon.
Trek down to Laban Rata for breakfast then continue your descend to Power Station.
Pick up to Park HQ for lunch.
Depart to Kota Kinabalu. En route option to stop by (time permit) at Pottery factory for
handicraft. You might want to pick up some for souvenirs.
English speaking guide, entrance, 3 lunches (1 box lunch on day 1), 2 dinners,
2 breakfasts, local Mt. guide, climbing permit & insurance, 1 night Twin Bed Cabin
at park based, 1 night dormitory bunk bed at Mt. Hut, Mt. Garden, Jungle walk,
Exhibit Hall, transport and tour activities as per itinerary.

Recommended items to bring
It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked
before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the
following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing:
Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia,
Peptic ulcers, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma,
Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper
the climber.
