(Malay: Gunung Trus Madi) is Malaysia's
second highest mountain at 2,642m
(8,666ft). It lies in the state of Sabah, close
to Mount Kinabalu. The mountain supports
a wide range of unique flora and fauna,
perhaps most notably Nepenthes
macrophylla, a species of pitcher plant.

Depart Kota Kinabalu for T.V.R.C, Tambunan for registration, then took another 1 hour
off road drive Base Camp at 1340m. Trek around 3 hours to Base Camp 1 ( 1845m )
for the night.
After Breakfast, start trekking to Summit of Mt. Trusmadi. The trek will take around 6 - 8
hours depending on your fitness. Camp out at Summit ( 2642m )

Wake up to the scenic of Mt. Kinabalu at the northern side and the surrounding view,
Start decent trek to Base Camp. Trekking will take around 6 - 8 hours depending on your
fitness. Stay at the Base Camp for the night.
Get ready for the 4X4 to pick up and back to T.V.R.C for the return journey back to Kota -
Kinabalu. We will stop by at the Rafflesia.
